Bios

Jenö http://noisefromthevoid.com/
Born in london in the mid-sixties and citing his mum's far out record collection as a major early influence, Jeno has always had a magical relationship with music. A relationship that has been strengthened by his unconventional upbringing, his five chaotic years as a punk musician and then his head first fall into the warehouse scene of the mid-eighties. It was here that he begged and borrowed his first records and turntables, developing a passionate love for dance music that led to many memorable gigs (including his own heady "Whoosh" parties) and spontaneous adventures, often with his old mates from the now infamous "Tonka Sound System".
After heading to San Francisco in the early 90's in search of a more psychedelic groove, he and several friends began the now legendary "Full Moon" parties. The friendly vibe and hedonistic atmosphere found at these free outdoor events attracted a large and diverse crowd of people, and set the tone for the future of the electronic dance music scene in Northern California.
Inspired by the 60's drenched, jazz laden, funk driven and disco'd out sounds of San Francisco's past, Jeno along with the other "Wicked" dj's has helped define an eclectic and soulful musical style that was the original sound of San Francisco.
He has now become one of most loved and sought after dj's in the United States. His unique sound and superb mixing skills have gained him a following all over North America and parts of Europe. He has played at the "Rex Club" in Paris, the legendary "Twilo" in New York, clubs in Mdrid, Prague, London, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle, Los Angeles, and in most major cities in the USA. He has played alongside many of his favourite dj's including Louie Vega, Tony Humphries, Roger Sanchez, Stacy Pullen, DJ Pierre, Francois Kevorkian, Harvey, Kenny Hawkes and Chez Damier.
Jeno has released numerous mix tapes and CD's including a mix for probably the most prestigious of all the house music CD sets in the US, the "United DJ's of America" series by DMC and Moonshine, and has begun working in the studio on his own music. He has a several remixes available on different record labels including Grayhound Records and is available for bookings.

Paris Minzer
Paris came to Los Angeles in 1998. An accomplished drummer, Paris stepped onto the scene a college freshman with dreams of playing with his high school Punk heroes.
Within a week, he attended his first rave, and his plans changed...
Soon after, he brought a pair of Technics 1200's into his freshman dorm (his roommates did not like that very much).
Buoyed by his already vast understanding of Rhythm and Tempo, DJ'ing came quite naturally, and within months was playing his debut shows in the LA rave circuit.
The following years were a whirlwind, to say the least.
He linked up with 2 of the craziest Socal Desert Rave crews: Roll Call, and the Stormriders, and became a resident of some of the best Desert Raves in SoCal history. He was also seen at seminal Urban Rave venues such as the Masterdome and the Fox Theatre.
These days, Paris has retreated into the Studio as a full- time Mastering Engineer. But, every so often, he likes to poke his head out and show the people "He's Still Got It."
And when he does, Watch Out!

Whiskey Devil http://djwhiskeydevil.blogspot.com/
Rachel Reynolds aka Whiskey Devil has been DJing in the bay area for a little over 3 years. She started off mixing mid-tempo then moved into electro house, breaks, funk, and most recently slipped into house and tech house. She is a prolific electronic music DJ with her fingers dabbling into all kinds of genres. Currently she would describe her style as a fusion of house, tech house with lots of latin and tribal elements including organic drums and vocals with a dash of gipsy and swing thrown in. Coming from a sound engineering and professional music background her goal as a DJ is to mix seamlessly while weaving a tapestry of beats into a single "set" movement.

Leo-J

Dr. Rek http://absurdity.biz/
A nomadic vessel channeling the Gourmet sound of the universe into your ears. Dr. Rek has been producing music and events for over 15 years and DJing to exuberant dance-floors for over 10 years in LA, Japan, NYC, and the bay area.

Dax
A staple and legend of the bay area scene, he's been putting on events for over 15 years. VJing, organizing, and tracking down high caliber talent are his game. Now, at long last, he's taking the reigns behind the mixer and presenting to you his unfettered love of music from his own library of properly curated trax.
