Description

RGB shop+gallery proudly presents REFLECTIONS: COUNTERPARTS OF THOUGHT, a group exhibition featuring culturally conscious mixed-media art by Jeremy Kantor, delicate watercolor illustrations by Briana Kranz, and abstract portraitures by Mika Navarrete – unique points of view from three San Francisco-based artists.

BRIANA KRANZ is a San Francisco based freelance fashion illustrator. As a lover of watercolor, line, graphic design, and fashion, her work is a cohesive and happy middle ground of those ideals. Fr
ee-spirited yet determined, she is a driven and inspired artist teaching at the Academy of Art University while pursuing her career as an illustrator.

JEREMY KANTOR is a modern day flâneur living amongst 21st century concrete, metal and glass. A swivel-necked urban pedestrian if you will. Minneapolis, Barcelona, Vancouver and San Francisco have all been called home. His works are a reflection of our position in public space in relation to the personal and private. Sometimes windows are mirrors.

MIKA NAVARRETE, originally from Guam, has been living in San Francisco for 6 years. She aspires to understand the hidden meanings behind thoughts with a paintbrush. For her, it's an organic process - throwing and pushing paint around over a blank surface, then pulling the subconscious from dried haphazard splatters and strokes, often finding feminine shapes and sensuality. Her method of creating is an evolved inkblot test; a reflection of emotions, experiences and carnal desires.
