Description
Redwood Symphony will launch its fourth decade together Sept. 26 with a West Coast premiere of Tales of Hemingway by Michael Daugherty, which will be performed by cellist Jonah Kim. The concert will open with a rousing Academic Festival Overture by Brahms and conclude with Hindemith's most popular work, Symphonic Metamorphosis.Tales of Hemingway, depicts four books by the great American author. The composer will take part in the pre-concert lecture at 7 p.m.
