Description

Program opens with Berlioz’s “Roman Carnival Overture” with Assistant Conductor Kristin Link.

Program features violinist Alexander Eisenberg. He will play the world premiere of the Violin Concerto by local composer Henry Mollicone which was commissioned by Redwood Symphony and "Carmen Fantasie", a showpiece of tunes from the opera “Carmen” by film composer Franz Waxman

Program concludes with Mason Bates'
"Alternative Energy" a four-movement symphony that incorporates electronica as well as a percussion section that features instruments constructed from spare car parts!
