Randy Newman comes to the Lilian Fontaine Garden Theatre at the Montalvo Arts Center for a special one night only performance. This legendary music icon is best known for his distinctive voice and playful, satirical pop songs, such as "Short People." Since the 1980s, Newman has worked mostly as a film composer, working on such hit films as Ragtime, Awakenings, The Natural, Seabiscuit, Meet the Parents, and seven Pixar films. Throughout his impressive career, Randy Newman has been nominated for twenty Academy Awards, winning twice, and won three Emmys, six Grammy Awards, and the Governor's Award from the Recording Academy.
