09/19 - Queen of Burlesque (1946) 16mm/B&W/Sound/70 min.
Crystal McCoy, known as the Queen of Burlesque, works for Joe Nolan. When Crystal learns that Nolan has offered the starring position to Dolly Devoe, she angrily confronts him and announces that she will hold him to her contract. Crystal's boyfriend, newspaper columnist Steve Hurley, suggests that she quit and marry him, but Crystal turns him down. Various performers and backstage crew come under suspicion when a dancer is found murdered at a burlesque theatre.
