Q. Do you enjoy the fun and challenge of a good pub quiz?

The league kicks off the week of February 1, 2010 and will be played at 20 local pubs, including the Blackthorn Tavern in the Inner Sunset. BE SURE TO CHECK ON THE EVENT START TIME FOR EACH LOCATION!

Here is some second grade trivia to whet your appetite:

i. Most versions of the tale about 'Beauty and the Beast' portray Beauty as having how many greedy sisters?
ii. What body of water separates Europe from the African continent?
iii. What is the formula for calculating the area of a triangle?
iv. What two food items are mentioned in the song 'Take Me Out To the Ballgame'?
v. Who was the Greek god of fire, known to the Romans as Vulcan?

Over $1,000 in prizes to the top teams. Battle in the qualifying heats at your local pub for a chance to clinch a place at the finals. The top scoring teams from each bar will 'face-off' at one Brainstormer Pub Quiz.

This league features more bars, more teams, and more prizes! The final will also have a slightly different format from past leagues with a 'Sweet 16' AND league format, giving more teams a chance to win!
