Join us as we present a
'Purple Rain' themed extravaganza
to one of the all time greats, Prince!
The Movie and Soundtrack, both
released in 1984, seemed to be just about the
best thing ever, weren't they?
You could dance to it and you could sing along.
It was direct and very suggestive. It rocked, it had an anthem.
The B sides were maybe better than the A sides.
You could go to a movie theater and watch it.
The movie especially seemed
a bit disjointed and spontaneous, like life!
You could see yourself, getting into one of the
multiple bands in the picture
and getting your big break, right?!!?
Most of all, it was a lot of fun.
What about the other bands?
The Time, Shelia E, Apollonia 6, Chaka Kahn,
Vanity 6? Yeah, we'll play some of that too.

DJ's Dangerous Dan & Ryan
will spin the classic underground dark 80's
mix in back on two huge video screens for
your video viewing pleasure,
it's pretty amazing, check it out.
DJ's Damon & Steve
play the rock, pop and 1 hit wonders
all night in the front room.

1190 Folsom near 8th in San Francisco.
Open every week at 9pm.
Free before 9:30pm, $6 after
except for special events, so
get there early for the
$2 well drinks until 10pm,
open late, maybe until 3am.
