Description
Imagine yourself back in the 19th century attending a concert in a German castle. Clara Schumann performs her own compositions, as well as those of her husband, Robert Schumann and a young Johannes Brahms. How exciting that must have been to hear the latest works of these composers during their time!Now we move forward to 2018 where there is an opportunity to hear new compositions by living composers of our time. Such a concert, Primavera Allegra, will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 8:00 PM at Foothill Presbyterian Church, 5301 McKee Road, San Jose. The concert will feature music for clarinet and piano by composers Mark Alfenito, Anne Baldwin, Greg Bartholemew, Nancy Bloomer Deussen, Semyon Bokman, Sondra Clark, Karl Schmidt, Greg Steinke and Davide Verotta.
