The Preservation Hall Jazz Band name is synonymous with all the joyful sounds and timeless traditions of New Orleans. Located in the heart of the French Quarter, Preservation Hall was founded in 1961 by Allan and Sandra Jaffe to nurture the heart, soul and spirit of this instantly recognizable musical style. Now led by their son, Ben Jaffe, the band’s roster includes players from across the generations, many of whom boast a direct lineage to earlier band members.
