Description
As a preview of the 12th United Nations Association Film Festival (UNAFF) in October, the Council is pleased to host a screening of Power Paths, as well as a panel discussion with the film’s director Bo Boudart and producers Christopher Philipp, Norman Brown, and Steve Michelson. This documentary film follows the Navajo, Hopi and Lakota Sioux tribes, as they find ways to introduce renewable energy projects into their communities through a grassroots movement that the filmmakers followed for two years. Their stories portray our potential for success in producing the power we need and preserving our planet’s livability, while also exposing America’s struggle to understand, accept and implement a new path toward true energy security.Advanced registration is recommended for guaranteed seating. However, pre-registration is not required and walk-ins on the day of this program are welcome.
Council Members: Free; Nonmembers: $15; Students: $5.
