Description
The new exhibit by father-daughter team Vladimir Dikarev and Natasha Dikareva showcases totems of imagination in two- and three-dimensional form. Dikarev's paintings and Dikareva's sculptures unite an earnest interest in the human experience through their use of universal cultural symbols. Together, the surreal paintings and enigmatic clay sculptures evoke a mythological realm worthy of the contemporary complexity of our world today.Opening reception: Saturday May 5, 2012, 7–10 pm.
