Description

Climate change is not something most Americans debate anymore. People are now responding to it. After the devastating Hurricane Sandy roared up the East Coast, communities came together not only to rebuild and repair, but to respond to the very cause of such a mega storm. Motivated by the destruction a polluted atmosphere can cause, people organized after Hurricane Sandy to rebuild sustainably using renewable energy to power their communities. Greenpeace started to collect just a few of the stories from this recovering region.

We wanted to hear more stories from people across the country who were dealing with climate change in their neighborhoods. After sorting through submissions from all across the country, we worked with filmmakers to produce short pieces that tell unique tales of climate change in America.

Join us for a screening of the "postcards" aboard the iconic Rainbow Warrior when she visits San Francisco on November 14th.

Don't forget your ID as the Port of San Francisco requires all visitors to show governement-issued identification.
