Description

Am I expecting too much or too little from my preschooler? Do time outs work? How can I be kind and firm at the same time? What do I do when my child has a tantrum? This 6 week workshop by Aki Raymer will answer these all too common questions and arm you with the tools that you need to foster cooperation instead of chaos. Learn how to support your child's curiosity and need for independence without letting your little one walk all over you!

In our 6 weeks together expect to learn concrete strategies through role play, experiential activities, and discussion. As a bonus, these classes can foster a deep sense of community and many parents stay in contact long after the class has ended!

Aki Raymer is the director of Parenting Paths and is the creator of the 123 CONNECT Infant Series. She has over a decade of combined experience as a caregiver, classroom teacher, parent coach, therapeutic shadow aide, preschool consultant, early interventionist, and workshop facilitator. You can find out more about Aki and read her blog about her own adventures in parenting at http://www.parentingpaths.com.
