Description
Positive discipline is a form of teaching children inner control. The techniques for doing this vary with the child’s developmental skills. Join Bonnie Romanow, Parent Educator and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant, in this workshop. Discipline techniques that aim to preserve and boost self-esteem will be explored. Discussion includes ways to nurture communication, cooperation, and altruistic behavior.Bonnie Romanow is a Jane Nelsen-certified parent educator and a certified Waldorf early education teacher. Bonnie also serves as an early childhood mental health consultant in Marin and Sonoma counties, supporting parents and professionals in meeting the emotional needs of young children (ages birth – 6).
