MENLO PARK, Calif. -- The Portola Art Gallery calls for entries to its 3rd juried plein air paintout and exhibit “Paint Allied Arts 2012.”

Twenty five artists will be selected by jury to join with artists of the Portola Art Gallery to paint in the gardens of Allied Arts on the morning of October 13, 2012. The public is invited to watch the artists at work and stay for the afternoon exhibit, reception and awards presentation.

Artists are invited to bring one painting to display at the beginning of the day. This painting may be replaced with their framed wet painting or hung alongside it at 1:30 P.M. All displayed works will be available for sale.
