Join the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History as they take the next installment in their Pop Up Museum series to the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum. Geoffrey Dunn and Kim Stoner, along with members of the Santa Cruz Surfing Club Society at the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum, will present never-seen-before research materials related to the the early Hawaiian princes who first surfed the mouth of the San Lorenzo River in Santa Cruz in 1885. Attendees are encouraged to bring rare surfing photographs, old surfer magazines and posters, and other local surfing memorabilia to share and exhibit.
