The Museum of Art & History and the Downtown Santa Cruz Public Library invite you to present a book you've altered in some way - painted, re-purposed, re-shaped - at a Pop Up Museum on Altered Books. This event will take place in the Santa Cruz Downtown Public Library's outside parking lot amidst the Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries' semiannual Book Sale, live music by the Coffee Zombie Collective, and food stands from Pleasure Pizza and The Penny Ice Creamery. If you enjoy reading books or like turning them into pieces of art, be sure to stop on by and join in on some bookish fun.
