Description

We invite you to join us for a circus themed pop-up lunch at SFMOMA Friday, November 16th, to celebrate Paul Klee’s Circus exhibition. Feel free to drop by with your coworkers for a quick bite, or stay longer for more circus-inspired fun. The lunch break is free and open to the public, and will include a special menu from Straw and Blue Bottle. Check out the Facebook event and invite your friends; the more the merrier!
On view on the second floor of the museum, Paul Klee’s Circus includes over a dozen works by Klee that embody his interest in the offbeat personalities and jovial aesthetics of the circus, and it gathers these entertainers around Alexander Calder’s Tightrope Walker (1944/1968). In conjunction with the exhibition, Straw comes over from Hayes Valley to serve up a trio of sliders, and Blue Bottle will spin together tri-colored cotton candy inspired by works on view in the Klee exhibition.
