Description
Polo Polo is a brilliant and beloved Mexican comedian with fans worldwide. He is best known for his mature-themed humor albums and shows, predominantly for his application of the Albur as a comedy component. Polo Polo began his career in 1972 in a small club in Mexico City’s “Zona Rosa” district. His following quickly grew and he went from a bigger nightclub, Keops to performing at the Crown Plaza, Mexico City’s largest showroom. Polo Polo set the record for the most consecutive sold out shows and the longest run of shows at the venue. A record that still stands today. His debut album, Viaje a España, didn’t receive much radio airplay but the album still became a huge hit and went on to sell over 100,000 copies.His popularity in the U.S. has grown steadily since 1988 and he returns to the states annually to perform for his ever-increasing fan base.
