Poetry Santa Cruz is thrilled to bring together poets C.J. Sage and Dennis J. Bernstein for a special event at Bookshop Santa Cruz.C. J. Sage's poems have appeared nationally and internationally in publications such as The Antioch Review, The Literary Review, Orion, Ploughshares, and The Threepenny Review. She is also the author of Let's Not Sleep, And We The Creatures, and Field Notes in Contemporary Literature.
Dennis J. Bernstein is the author of the book, Special Ed: Voices from a Hidden Classroom, and is also the executive producer and host of "Flashpoints", an award-winning daily investigative program on the national listener-sponsored Pacifica Radio network.
