The lunch marks the start of the baseball season and highlights the Fund’s flagship program, Junior Giants. Junior Giants is a free, non-competitive, co-ed baseball program for underserved youth ages 5-18, reaching over 16,000 kids in California, Nevada and Oregon. Junior Giants stresses the Four Bases of Character Development – Confidence, Leadership, Teamwork and Integrity – and offers programs in Education, Health and Violence Prevention. Junior Giants players from participating leagues will have the opportunity to sit with a Giants player or coach during the luncheon.
