Description
Plate to Plate is the only local event of its kind in which participants experience crossing home plate at AT&T Park – all for a good cause. This once-a-year opportunity gives families, friends and local businesses the chance to enjoy the summer sun, participate in America’s favorite pastime and raise money for a vital community organization. Free tickets to that day’s 1:05 p.m. baseball game between the San Francisco Giants and the Colorado Rockies will be given to the first 3,000 people who register for the event.A benefit for Project Open Hand, Plate to Plate is hosted by the San Francisco Giants and will raise funds to feed seniors and people battling critical illnesses in San Francisco and Alameda counties.
Registration fees are $39, $29 for children 12 and under, and include the run/walk across home plate, an event t-shirt, a game ticket for the first 3,000 registrants, as well as a post-race festival with an with an awards ceremony, kids corner and healthy foods pavilion.
