Description
Parks preserve nature's diversity and provide a wealth of information--geology, plants, animals, history--in addition to beautiful scenery. Visit the new exhibit, "Pioneers of the Santa Cruz Mountains and Sunburn Park" and imagine what the land looked like before it was settled and developed. You'll get a glimpse of the pioneers who eked a living out of unfriendly ground. Some remnants of their life still exist in the park. And you'll see the master plan for the present--and the future of the park. The exhibit runs from February 21-June 26. Free admittance. Saratoga Historical Museum is located at 20450 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road in Saratoga, CA. 408-867-4311 or
