Homosexuality and the Bible:

Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) - San Jose/Peninsula Chapter present speaker, and author, David J. Harvey. He will speak about his newly published book: Wondrous Love! A Gay Pastor's Personal Journey to Acceptance.

David J. Harvey presents his personal and sometimes controversial views of homosexuality throughout the scriptures. His book was born from years of research, study, and teaching on the topic of homosexuality, and what the Bible really says about it. Straight people will gain a fresh understanding of the journey that many gay Christians encounter, and LGBT Christians will find a friend who identifies with their hurt and rejection from evangelical and mainline churches across the country. While there is much confusion in the Christian world as to what the Bible says about homosexuality, there is great clarity about how Jesus instructed his followers to "walk in love.” You too can find that Wondrous Love!

PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) will be meeting monthly (2nd Monday of the Month) to create a better future for LGBTQ youth and adults through a partnership of parents, allies and LGBT people. Small group support will be offered at all meetings.
