Description
Acoustic Guitarist hails Peppino D’Agostino as “a guitarist’s guitarist.” This Italian native has made a large international mark as a musician from first arriving in America a little over 25 years ago. Once he heard the musical styling of a guitar, he became absorbed with the instrument, even going AWOL one night from the Italian Army to catch a concert by an acoustic guitarist he admired. He composes, arranges, collaborates, improvises, and sings in both English and Italian.D’Agostino was voted “Best Acoustic Guitarist” in 2007 by Guitar Player, and his release Every Step of The Way earned him two Bronze medals by Acoustic Guitar’s People’s Choice Awards in 2002, one for Best Acoustic Album of All Time and one for Fingerstyle Guitarist of the Year. He has released seven albums prior to his most recent record, Nine White Kites, and still tours nationally and internationally.
