Though she’s best known for her blend of ’80s pop rock with hits such as “Love Is a Battlefield,” “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” and “We Belong,” Pat Benatar has toured consistently throughout the past three decades and created nine albums of original and live material. Benatar garnered four consecutive “Best Rock Vocal Performance” Grammy Awards from 1980 to 1983, as well as nominations in 1985 for “Best Pop Vocal Performance” and ’86 for “Best Rock Vocal Performance, Duo or Group,” but received little attention following her rise to fame in the 1980s. This fall, she releases an acoustic “best of” album and continues a nationwide and Canadian tour with husband Neil Giraldo, who joins her onstage tonight at the Mountain Winery.
