Description
Experience Napa: With complex, deep Bordeaux and light, fruit forward Sauvignon Blancs, St. Supéry is a palette’s delight! On September 17 The International Culinary Center welcomes St. Supéry winery and their divine estate-grown Napa Valley Wines.
With special guest from St. Supéry, Scott Tracy
Each week, the International Culinary Center hosts a Food and Wine Pairing Series composed of wine tasting seminars and tutored pairing dinners. Learn the principles of wine and food pairing in a short lecture led by International Culinary Center Master Sommelier Roland Micu. Also, discover St. Supéry’s wine philosophy as you taste through a few of their acclaimed wines while Scott Tracy and MS Roland Micu explain how St. Supéry uses their estate-grown grapes to create wines that are both multi-textured and balanced .
Afterward, proceed to The International Culinary Center's private dining room, the Monte Bello. You'll enjoy a three-course wine pairing dinner, prepared by our students, while Roland and Scott discuss each of their handpicked wine selections.
St. Supéry is owned by the Skalli family, who came to the United States from Southern France. The family made wine in France for several generations. After a visit to Napa in the 1970s, Robert Skalli was inspired to create an estate winery in Napa and decided to buy land and pursue winemaking in the New World as well. St. Supéry wines shine when imbibed alongside food, and as such, are a delightful addition to our food and wine pairing series. St. Supéry takes pride in their award-winning Sauvignon Blancs, Cabernet Sauvignons, and Bordeaux blends, and Scott Tracy looks forward to sharing them with you.
