Laura Lengyel studio at 480 Gate Five Road, 300-I, Sausalito is open through September 7 with a special exhibit "The spirit of Mount Tamalpais," recent contemporary realist oil paintings of the mountain in different seasons and moods. This is a rare opportunity to visit a working studio in a Sausalito waterfront loft. You can meet the artist and discuss her paintings, sculpture and etchings, portraits and commissioned artwork. On a path less traveled at the north end of town, her studio is a 15-minute walk from downtown, through water front parks past scenic yacht harbors. There is free on-site parking and an elevator to the 3rd floor. August studio hours are Thurs – Sat, 11 am – 6 pm; Sundays by appointment; closed Mondays.
