Description
Come learn about oysters and wines from the oyster team at Waterbar and the Secret Wine Shop, with special guests the Lunny Family of Drakes Bay Oyster Company and two of the local winemakers. Each oyster will have our suggested wine pairing, but you will be able to taste and learn the different "meroir" and "terroir" combinations for yourself.Anthony Rizzi, Greg Babinecz, and Eric Hyman of Waterbar will be shucking the oysters and creating the non-oyster edibles. What about the venue, you ask? For the experience junkie, we've arranged for you the very first Dottie's evening special event in their new location. It's 5x larger than the old location with 2 floors including a cozy wind-protected outdoor roof deck! Plus you'll get to meet owner Kurt Abney in person, for once not in the kitchen.
Advanced RSVP required. A portion of event proceeds will benefit the Watershed Project, a local organization promoting the restoration of lost native oyster populations to the San Francisco Bay Area.
