About AIF
The American India Foundation (AIF) is the largest diaspora philanthropy organization focused on India and based out of the United States. Since inception, AIF has benefited more than 1.5 million people, by implementing programs through over 115 Indian non-governmental organizations.

AIF works through strategic philanthropy, with its investment decisions guided by deep experience and innovative thinking. We identify system-changing solutions that benefit some of the most marginalized people in India and invest resources and knowledge to create opportunity and hope. We bring together a community of like-minded donors, who by pooling their resources, are creating an exponential impact. And we do all of this in an efficient, effective and transparent manner, keeping our administrative costs to a minimum and providing the highest value to all of our stakeholders.

The AIF Bay Area Young Professionals (AIFBAYP) has raised over $45,000 in just two years for underprivileged youth in India. We’ve created a great deal of awareness for various causes and helped bring the Bay Area South Asian community together. We’ve thrown dozens of sold-out events year around and we've only just begun...

The program cur- rently works with four partners: Nidan, Loka Drushti (LD), Cohesion Foundation Trust (CFT) and Vikas Sahyog Prat- ishthan (VSP).
