Description
San Francisco Opera and the San Francisco Giants invite you to Opera at the Ballpark, a free, live simulcast of Verdi's "Il Trovatore". Through state-of-the-art technology, the performance will be transmitted in high definition, live from the War Memorial Opera House stage to AT&T Park’s 3200-square-foot scoreboard. Baseball fans and opera fans will experience this event with seating both on the field and in the stands.Beginning at 6:30PM, pre-registered fans can enter the park, while entry for the general public begins at 7PM. Keep in mind that field seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You must bring your barcoded confirmation print-out for early entry. Bring blankets to sit on the field. NO lawnchairs...please don't be selfish about this one!. If you're thinking of bringing a picnic, please review the AT&T Park Restrictions to speed your check-in at the security gate.
Unsealed plastic bottles and soft-sided containers will be subject to inspection and may be confiscated. Glass and metal cans are not permitted. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted from outside the ballpark for any AT&T Park event. Metal utensils, hard-sided coolers and picnic baskets are not permitted. Sealed plastic bottles and soft-sided juice containers containing non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in AT&T Park.

The simulcast will last approximately 3 hours with just one intermission this time, during which you can stretch, roam the ballpark, chat with friends or fellow fans or enjoy ballpark franks and garlic fries.
