The legendary Purple Onion hosts the opening night of The 34th Annual San Francisco International Comedy Competition, one of the oldest and most prestigious comedy competitions in the country.Past competitors include Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, Ellen Degeneres, Patton Oswalt, Dane Cook, Steven Wright, Roseanne Barr, and many more.
Tonight's host is special guest Jim Short, past winner of the competition and recently seen on the Late Show with David Letterman.
