Sylvan Productions presents Open Improv.

Do you like to laugh?
Honestly.
We hope you said yes (to yourself, not out loud, then you'd be talking to a computer and that'd be weird.).
Because if you did, then we heartily insist that you join us at Open Improv, Sylvan Production's newest experiment in spontaneity. Being students of all sorts of performance art, from theatre to stand-up to music and so on, we enjoy being studious in our arts. However, to take an improv class in the city we'd have to sell our blood to afford it (unless it's at a community college, then that's a whole 'nother story.)
So, this is our response to absurdly expensive improv classes!
An open-mic-slash-workshop-slash-whatever-we-decide-to-do-with-it-for-the-night event guaranteed to blow your mind. And we encourage everyone in the building, enjoying the show or not, to participate.
We could go on and on about how important improv is as a fundamental skill in any live performance art. About how developing your skill in improvisation can make you sound like a smarter person! Insert crazy absurd-sounding-but-true! promise here!
But we won't waste your time.

Come to the Dark Room Theatre on Tuesdays @ 7:30.
And bring some friends too.
It'll be dope.
