FACTR (Family Alliance for Counseling Tools and Resolution), an organization dedicated to helping immigrants and refugees assimilate into their new environments, invites you to attend an art exhibit featuring the elegant artwork of Russian painter Gennadiy Yacovlevich Volfovsky.Volfovsky came to the United States with his family in 1994, bringing with him his cultural roots in the form of beautiful paintings. He has effectuated numerous exhibitions in cities including St. Petersburg, San Francisco, New York, and his hometown, Pushkin.
FACTR hosts such events to bring together the community through cultural awareness and inter-change and to encourage immigrants and refugees to embrace their backgrounds, share their creative talents, as well as actively participate in their new surroundings.
Refreshments and wine will be served. The artist will be present and the paintings will be available at promotional prices during this two hour event only.
