It's official, after last year's hugely successful event, we're doing it again - One Step Beyond: 2012! And, we are following One Step's original format where we'll feature a breakthrough band, some major DJs and a night of non-stop dancing.

- We've booked a great, up-and-coming band, The Frail, that fits perfectly into the OSB family. The Frail was recently named the best up-and-coming act in San Francisco by Deli Magazine. They've been featured on MTV, won the viewer's choice award in Owl Magazine's "Video Makes The Radio Star" contest, and have played alongside the likes of Justice, Moby and Goldfrapp.

- The band plays early (9:00), leaving the rest of the night to dance!

- With more DJ time, we're bringing in DJ Aaron Axelsen from Live 105 and Popscene. A Bay Area native, he's been the music director of Live 105 since 1997, and has been responsible for bringing some of the best up-and-coming music to the Bay Area through his radio shows and through Popscene. He also shares a love of the music that made OSB home to so many of us, so he's a perfect fit for the event.

- This year, knowing that times are tough, we've made every effort to keep ticket prices low ($10 presale / $15 at the door) and have arranged discounted hotel rates.

- The Sheraton Palo Alto is the official hotel for One Step Beyond: 2012.
