Description

Peninsula Library System kicks off One Book One Community, a month-long reading event held annually to encourage all of San Mateo County to read and experience the same book at the same time. The month of free programs begins Thursday, October 1st with a kickoff at the 1,600-seat San Mateo Performing Arts Center featuring Chitra Divakaruni, author of the featured book The Mistress of Spices, in conversation with KALW “New America Now” host Sandip Roy. Includes audience Q&A and a book signing.
