Description
In the four short years between 1965 and 1969, the underground press exploded into a force that both created and reported on the news of the day.This lively social history features stories told by everyone from Bill Ayers to Trina Robbins, as well as images from a rogues list of publications, including Rat Subterranean News, the San Francisco Oracle, Screw, The Black Panther, and the East Village Other.
With Emory Douglas (former Minister of Culture of the Black Panther Party) and Billy X Jennings (official Black Panther Party archivist).
