The Ohlone Wind Orchestra presents its winter concert with a program of classics and modern music, including new music by Bay area composer George Roumanis including
“Super Big Band Evolution.” Classics will include Weinberger’s “Polka Fugue” from the opera ‘Schwanda the Bagpiper,’ Alford’s classic march “The Purple Carnival,” Smith’s “Africa: Ceremony, Song and Ritual,” and Reineke’s “The Witch and the Saint.”
