Here comes the crashing, thrashing, utterly smashing new album from Oh My God – their first recording with guitar, their most searing set of songs to date. OMG’s notorious blasts of organ overdrive, grinding bass, precision drum attacks and contagious vocal hooks have never packed such a jolt.The Fools Want Noise album was to be released in 2007 but derailed when OMG’s van got leveled in a head-on collision in Ohio. The band has gone through most of a year of physical therapy and is aching (pun intended) to get back out on the road to show off their healed bones and new songs. Fools Want Noise will finally see its overdue national release on September 30, 2008 on Chicago’s own Split Red Records."
