The mainstream press has pulled Tyler the Creator to the front of this Los Angeles based indie rap collective, but those in the underground understand that Odd Future is a we thing. Officially named Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, the group is made up of budding rappers, beat makers and singers that range in age from their teens to their early twenties. Landing somewhere between the hive mind of the WuTang Clan and the irreverence of Jackass, Odd Future just may be breathing new life into rap.
