Description
Odd & Off describes the experience viewers will have with the pieces. Viewers aren’t given a theme to come in with; instead they encounter a riddle composed of moments. In each of my works there is something—well, not quite right, something a little odd that can leave you feeling a little off balance. The connections will becomes realized to the viewer as they begin to piece together the riddle in whichever way it fits together for them. My hope is that the viewers will feel that they've lived in the exhibit, that they've had a series of emotions and have been looking at the pieces for days. Each of the separate pieces is a moment, and the moments experienced together can create a feeling of time past, of an environment lived in--a place where they've created their own memories.
