For the September luncheon, we are excited to announce as our featured speaker - Dale Gonzales, CSP, P.E., Director Environmental Affairs From California Water Service. Dale, who joined Cal Water in 2004, oversees California Water Service Environmental Affairs department.His department has a geographical reach of more than 20 cities in California and seven main program areas: Hazardous Waste Management, Hazardous Material Management, Water Discharge Compliance, Right-to-Know programs, Due Diligence Programs, Air Compliance Programs and Land Use Programs.
All these programs are in direct support of the projects that Cal Water Engineering and Operations undertake.
Dale and his Environmental Department have been a strong supporter of Cal Water's Supplier Diversity program. And the record shows, in 2017 75% of all their projects safeguarding California's environment were completed by diverse suppliers.His presentation will be an overview of his department and operations across the state.
