Help the Golden Gate National Parks to keep Ocean Beach clean and safe for all of us to enjoy!The Golden Gate National Parks Volunteer Program is a cooperative parkwide effort of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, the National Park Service, and the Presidio Trust.
Activities for this event will focus on collecting trash and man-made debris from the beach.
Meeting Location: Ocean Beach, Stairwell 17 (across from the Beach Chalet, the Great Highway at Fulton)
Bring completed waiver forms to the project and hand them in at the registration area.

Date: 3/21/09
Time: 1:30 PM to 3:30PM
Max number of volunteers: 50
Age restrictions: Volunteers of all ages are welcome. With young volunteers, adult chaperones are required. Ocean Beach is ideal for families with young children.
Type of work: Activities will focus on collecting trash and man-made debris from the beach. Meeting Location: Ocean Beach, Stairwell 17 (across from the Beach Chalet, the Great Highway at Fulton.
Recommended attire: Please wear clothes that can get dirty, long pants, close-toed shoes, layers for changing weather, and rain gear if necessary.
Items to bring: All supplies and tools provided
Meals provided: Snack provided
Beverages provided: Water will be available; please bring your sports mug and help us reduce trash.
Parking: Free parking available at both sites
Rain contingencies: Work in light rain, but in the event of heavy rain, the project will be rescheduled for another day. Check websites for updates on day before regarding forecast.
