Description
Fast becoming a beloved Bay Area holiday tradition, Let Us Break Bread Together celebrates not only the season but also the talent and diversity of the East Bay community. The Oakland Tribune called last year’s holiday concert “a thoroughly multicultural and unabashedly feel-good festival.” Participating groups include the Oakland Symphony Chorus led by Lynne Morrow; the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir led by Terrance Kelly, the Mt. Eden High School Choir led by Ken Rawdon, and Klezmer band Kugelplex. Joining Kugelplex are members of the women’s vocal ensemble Kitka. They join Music Director Michael Morgan and the orchestra for inspiring performances of gospel music, classical selections, holiday favorites and sing-alongs.An ideal way for the entire family to celebrate the holiday season, this popular choral extravaganza takes place Sunday, December 13 at 4 pm at the Paramount Theatre in downtown Oakland. Thanks to Target’s generous support, all tickets for youth under eighteen years of age are just $10, and Family 4-Packs are available for just $50 this year.
