ROCHE: Roche plays all new material almost everytime he performs, using a classic hiphop/90's approach to sampling and a love for cheap synthesizers, the only thing that can be expected is that it will be different than the last time (and there will be drum machines and synths and possibly a 4 on the floor rhythm and maybe some weeded out interludes) . Checkout XLR8R for reviews of some of his tracks.
2012 should be a big year for Roche as he has several eps signed out for vinyl release and a seemingly endless supply of great tunes in the works.

CALTROP: The Bay Area’s Christoph Caominh – aka Caltrop – is a German transplant originally from Munich. Growing up on synth pop and radio jingles from the 80s, he later discovered he’d been listening to the music of Alan Parson Project, Jean Michel-Jarre, Kraftwerk, and Moroder.
The explosion of techno originators LFO and 808 State landed on the European charts launched Christoph on a journey to learn more about the “pioneers of the hypnotic grooves”. Armed with an early PC and the legendary Fast Tracker II, Christoph began his musical journey.
From 2001 on, he made a name for himself in the Bay Area’s electronic underground for his DJ Sets, which combine diverse sounds ranging from Detroit Techno, Chicago Acid, Disco, and long-forgotten Italo and Synthpop classics.

DSNG: In 2008, friends Cem Atabek and Andre Ferreira put their rock gear in storage, found some electronic instruments on Craigslist and began DSGN (Design). After daily techno-training and internet research they produced the material for a several lo-fi CD-Rs, eventually yielding their “smoke-house” sound. Then, Andre (Bobby Browser) got involved with fiesta-pranksters Partyeffects and the DSGN project was shelved, only to be picked up in the summer of 2011 for their first live set. Appropriately titled “Hangin' Out Late Night,” their debut cassette on 100% Silk will feature the best cuts from their early years, wandering somewhere between deep-smoked House, teenage Electronica and street-tough Electro.
