The Emerald Tablet hosts a special evening of original music from local sweetheart band FpodBpod, who play an always interesting assortment of styles — from pop to soul and psychedelic — to which you can boogie!To sample FpodBpod’s grooves and watch a video or two, and for directions: http://emtab.org/north-beach-first-fridays-aug-02-2013/.
The show is in conjunction with Akira Beard’s remarkable exhibit The Life Show, so if you haven’t checked it out this will be a great chance (and if you have, come take a closer look and enjoy the music).
