NON STOP BHANGRA--WELCOMES 2014!

Non Stop Bhangra returns to its monthly ritual on January 12th. Come join the crew as we say welcome 2014 with good music, friends, gratitude, happy vibes, and non stop dancing. A big Thank You to the SF Bay Area community for rocking out with us in 2013.

Our January date also falls near Lohri, an ausipicious occasion celebrating the winter solsctice by Punjabis. Singing and dancing form an intrinsic part of the celebrations. People wear their brightest clothes and come to dance to the beat of the dhol, the very thing that NSB stands for. If you have never made it out to one of our events, here's your chance to come experience a one of a kind night featuring vibrant music, performances, live drumming, and one of the most eclectic crowds seen on a dance floor.

As always the nights journey will begin with an interactive, fun, Bhangra dance lesson followed by the vibrant dance performances by the lovely ladies of Dholrhythms Dance Company.

The journey will continue with Non Stop Bhangra DJ's DJ Jimmy Love who will be joined by special guests and NSB regulars DJ Sep (Dub Mission) and DJ Nix (Bol Punjab De) spinning the latest and greatest Bhangra tunes to keep you moving all night alongside our live drummers Pavit and Mehul spicing up the night with banging Dhol beats. Beyond sound and dance, Non Stop Bhangra caters to your eyes all night with visuals by DJ Amar.

Whether you are exploring a new culture for the first time or addicted to the music and its essence, this will be one night where you can get away from it all and dance the night away. So much more than just a club night, Non Stop Bhangra has truly turned into one of a kind cultural experience only found in the Bay Area.
