Non-denominational Pet Blessing & Fundraiser

Description

Please join us on Sunday, May 7th from 10:00 to 11:15 am with your special pet(s) and invite friends with pets to join you as we honor and bless the precious animals in our lives. If you are not able to bring your pet(s) to this Pet Blessing, then you may bring a photograph instead and have it blessed.

We will have treat bags for the animals that are blessed. In addition, we will have two special guests: Kathy Waddell from “Operation Freedom Paws” and her wonderful service dog, Krystal, who will share with us what Operation Freedom Paws does to help empower veterans to restore their own independence.

Food will be available for sale (sandwiches & baked goods). Our Espresso Bar will also be open so you can purchase specialty coffee and other drinks.

Our pets are beloved creatures of God who nourish us spiritually through their unconditional love. Pet Blessing day at Unity Spiritual Center of San Jose is their day for spiritual nourishment.

Please have dogs on leashes, cats in carriers, and other animals safely secured. The pet blessing will be conducted outdoors in our courtyard and will be limited to 30 live animals. Please be sure to register your pet(s) today!
