Nocturne is a bi-monthly musical event focused on featuring quality bay area musicians and a having an eclectic line-up of both acoustic and electronic music.Mama Buzz is a staple of Oakland art and music culture. With a monthly rotation of visual art, Mama hosts many great musical shows as well. Delicious vegan cupcakes, beers on tap, and an outdoor patio only add to it's vibe.
This is a very special edition of Nocturne, we are pleased to be hosting the CD release party of local electronic smooth criminals, James and Evander. They have been writing songs and collecting analog gear since college and the time has come for them to lay their infectious melodies on you.
Starting the night off will be Mike Hale singing and playing guitar followed by Ben Thompson sharing his electronic compositions.
The evening starts promptly at 7 and goes until 10. Dress to impress!
